Rare Millers Falls Hand Drill No 2 -1909.  Cocobolo Handles!

Price: $290.00

Sale Price: $246.00
Item #:  209-No2-1909-03

Detailed Description with Photos

Smooth operator.

This is very rare example of a drill dated to 1909-1910.

This is a No. 2 drill equipped with a chuck based on Parsons' patent. It is a three-jaws, spring-type chuck adjustable from 0 to 3/8 inch.

The drill has no markings on the crank plate and the crank handle is in an elongated shape.

However, the spindle housing has a distinct marking: No. 2. This was a first attempt of marking the drill model on a drill by Millers Falls. The drills with this marking are very rare and this rarety suggest that production run with this type of marking was very short and released sometime during 1909.
