			model went into production in 1957.  This specific variation 
			was produced sometime in 1960s. Millers Falls 
				catalog describes this drill as: Single speed hand drill with two pinions. Die cast, iron frame 
				is enameled black. Drive gear is painted red. Tropical hardwood 
				main handle with hollow storage for drill bits and cap. "Chef's 
				cap" side handle.  Ball thrust bearing on spindle. Three-jaw, 
				spring chuck adjustable from 0 to 3/8 inch. Bright parts

				Fully restored:  
				Main frame fully stripped and re-painted.  Side and crank handle sanded 
				and finished with mahogany poly. 
			Main handle sanded, polished and treated with 6 layers of BLO. 
				The final finish is six layers of Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil 
									Gunstock Finish Liquid. It is probably one 
									of the best high quality finish for exotic 
									hard wood. 
				Gear tight and very smooth.  Chuck 
			disassembled, cleaned inside and out.  All inside surfaces polished, 
			including jaws – for smooth operation. 
						Greased, oiled, tuned and checked. |
