This is a rare MF No. 2 - built on a 1929
frame with modifications leading to the 1938 model. It
is most likely produced either right before the introduction of
the 1938 model or after 1938 with 1929 frames still available in
inventory.
First, the tigerwood is used for the main handle and
crank handle. This wood was not used before 1938 in great numbers. Second, the crank plate is the same
shape as on the 1938 model. The chef's cap side handle, used on the 1929
models since 1935 is also present.
A rare find and interesting addition to any toolbox or
collection.

bearing. Pinion of Steel, Ball Thrust Bearing. Reinforced
spindle housing.
Chuck of Star pattern with 3 jaws opening with springs, which are
Protected From Injury and Will Not Get Out of Order, and Closing
Evenly on, and Centering Accurately, round shanks from 0 to 3/8 inch
in diameter.
