In
1920 the company introduced a new tool - Carpenter's Bevel. The
catalog No. 14 published in 1920 described several sizes of
these bevels as follows:
These handsome and accurate Carpenter's Bevels
will be appreciated by all particular mechanics. The Handles are
Rosewood, fully brass bound with rods dovetailed the entire
length of the handle, and doweled to heavy brass and plates. The
Steel Blades have accurate parallel edges. The Blades can be
fastened in any position by turning the large polished thumb
screw.
These tools are very handsomely finished; the
handles, in the same manner as our Rosewood Levels; the blades,
nicely polished.
