Goodell-Pratt Hand Drill No. 5-1/2 Toolsmiths – c. 1938This drill release, originally designed and 
				produced by Goodell-Pratt Company, is a product of Millers Falls 
				Co. This specific version was produced after merger of the two 
				companies.
				The earliest description of this drill version appears in 
				Millers Falls' Catalog No. 41 – 1935.  
				It is described as follows:
				
				
				"Known the world over for its smooth 
				operation, years of serviceability and fine finish. Equipped 
				with all-steel chuck for holding round shank drills up to 3/8 
				inch diameter. Two speeds with ratio of 3.8 to 1 and 1.3 to 1, 
				changed by turning the shift knob. Ball bearing spindle. Steel 
				pinion.
				Enameled iron frame. Large gear red 
				enameled. Hollow tropical hardwood end handle with screw cap. 
				Side and crank handles mahogany finished hardwood. All exposed 
				metal parts nicely polished, nickeled and buffed.
				Capacity – 3/8 inch, Length – 14 ½
